Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 21 August 2026. Last updated: 3 September 2026.
These rules apply to everyone who uses Postsie and form part of the Terms of Service (postsie.com/legal/terms).
1. The basic rule
Use Postsie only for lawful purposes, only with accounts you are authorised to control, and only in ways consistent with these rules, the Terms of Service, applicable law, and the rules of each connected platform — including the Meta Platform Terms, Community Standards, Instagram’s policies, Meta’s messaging policies, and, once TikTok support becomes available, TikTok’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
2. Prohibited content
Do not create, upload, schedule, publish, or send through Postsie content that:
- is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way — zero tolerance; such material is removed and reported to the authorities;
- infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property or personality rights;
- harasses, threatens, or incites hatred or violence against people or groups;
- is deceptive or fraudulent, including scams, impersonation, and materially misleading claims;
- contains malware, phishing links, or other technically harmful material.
3. Prohibited conduct
- sending spam or bulk unsolicited content or messages, or using Postsie for coordinated inauthentic behaviour;
- engagement fraud, such as buying or exchanging fake likes, followers, comments, or views;
- connecting or operating a social account you are not authorised to control;
- circumventing platform rate limits, review processes, restrictions, or bans, or helping others do so;
- scraping or collecting data outside the authorised platform APIs and permissions;
- probing, scanning, or testing the security of Postsie without prior written consent, or interfering with the service or other customers’ use of it;
- reselling, sublicensing, or providing Postsie to third parties as a service without a written agreement with UAB Gildium;
- misrepresenting the origin of content or your affiliation with any person or organisation.
4. Messaging conduct (planned feature)
The unified inbox is a planned feature that is not yet available. Once it becomes available, when using the unified inbox you must:
- message only people who have messaged your account or otherwise opted in, within the messaging windows and message types each platform permits;
- honour opt-outs — a recipient who asks to stop receiving messages must not be messaged again through Postsie;
- not use messages for unsolicited marketing, harassment, or automation that violates platform messaging policies;
- not misrepresent who is sending the message.
5. AI-assisted features
You must review and approve AI output before publication or sending. Do not use AI features to produce content prohibited by section 2, to generate deliberately misleading content presented as fact, or to attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or bypass the safety behaviour of the underlying AI models.
6. Platform rules come first
Each connected platform’s own rules bind you directly. Postsie may decline, pause, or unpublish activity that would breach those rules or put customers’ platform accounts, Postsie’s platform access, or other customers at risk.
7. Enforcement
Postsie may warn you, restrict specific functions, suspend access, or terminate accounts consistent with the Terms of Service, acting proportionately to the seriousness and repetition of the breach. Where the law requires or permits, Postsie reports illegal activity to competent authorities.
8. Reporting misuse
Report suspected misuse of Postsie to support@postsie.com. Include links or identifiers where possible; we review reports and act where this policy or the law requires.
